Entertainment Education Day - May 7
This day was conceptualized by IIYI in the year 2005 and is observed on May 7 every year. In the year 2005, IIYI observed this day at their Resource Centre at Alambagh. The members of IIYI decided to include the innovative activity on - Educational Cricket” (introduced by IIYI) in Entertainment Education.
 
Adolescents’ Day – December 15
This day was conceptualized by IIYI in the year 2000 and is observed on December 15 every year. To observe this day Young Inspirers conduct entertainment education activities for creating awareness on issues related to adolescent health and development in various schools and colleges.
 
 
Book Store and Resource Centre

The Resource Centre for Health was set up by IIYI in 1999. The Centre has a collection of approximately 25,000 documents on population and development, adolescent health, sexual and reproductive health, environment, gender, HIV/AIDS and related issues collected from leading organizations from all over the world. It is managed by the volunteers of IIYI.

Innovative IEC, BCC Tools
Since its inception Indian Institute of Young Inspirers, Lucknow has developed various innovative IEC, BCC tools for its own projects and for other organisations. For more details kindly see our publication list.
