Magic Shows and Board Game Shows

IIYI conducts Magic Shows and Board Game Shows on issues related to health and AIDS awareness. Besides serving the purpose of rapport building, magic/anti-superstition tricks and board games make the programs more entertaining and do not let the enthusiasm of people fade away. With the help of these magic tricks and games, messages for creating health & AIDS awareness can be easily communicated to the people.

Educational Cricket
Indian Institute of Young Inspirers successfully launched Educational Cricket at St. Antony’s Inter College, Sector – A, Sitapur Road Scheme, Lucknow on May 29, 2005. This cricket match is meant for physical as well as educational activities among adolescents. It is a combination of a cricket match as well as a quiz on adolescent health issues. Following issues can be covered during the quiz: HIV/AIDS, peer pressure and substance abuse, nutrition, gender etc. In this match most of the rules and regulations are same as in a regular cricket match except that in this match each team consists of only 6 players. The balls per over are four only. Everyone’s participation is ensured by facing equal number of overs. The final rule for this cricket match is that the teams have to score runs during the cricket match as well as during the quiz time, and the final score is the total of both the scores and accordingly the winner team is declared. The concept of Educational Cricket has been conceived by Manish Kumar, and he has been supported by Young Inspirers Govind Pandey, Anuradha Singh, Alok Kumar Pandey, Aradhana Singh, Mohnish Kumar, Abhishek Gautum, Sameer Shekhar Pandey, Mohd. Tahir, Runa Pathak, Nooruddin and Arif in the designing and implementation of the game.
